On February 24, 2024, I was there to photograph the moments of Damla and Grant's wedding ceremony in Etiler, held in the garden of their home, in order to document it forever with all its reality. Wedding photography always requires witnessing special and emotional moments, but since this ceremony of my couple was held at home, it has a special place in my memory with its warmth and sincerity.
Damla's excitement and happiness that day was visible on her face. She looked like a princess with her elegant dress and simple make-up. Grant added a special touch to his groom's suit with a sporty and stylish beige suit. The photos I took before the wedding ceremony in Etiler reflected their excitement and love for each other.
When I stepped into the garden, the carefully thought-out minimalist and understated details caught my attention. White chairs created a peaceful atmosphere in the shade of the pergola. The guests were having a pleasant time with the joyful laughter of the children and the delicious cocktails prepared for the adults. While witnessing these moments, there was sincerity and warmth in every frame.
When the moment of the wedding came, it was a great honor for me to capture those moments when Damla and Grant expressed their love and commitment to each other. Their families and friends celebrated this special moment with applause and joy. When I captured that moment, it was impossible not to feel the emotional depth of the photos.
After the wedding, the night continued with a dinner and music prepared by Damla & Grant themselves. As the guests chatted and shared their memories, I pressed the shutter button to immortalize every moment. Damla and Grant's deep love and respect for each other despite their cultural differences was clearly visible in every frame. The smiles of their little daughter Emily made each photo even more special. Emily was the star of the day, so to speak.
This wedding ceremony was not only a job for me, but also an emotional experience. I wish Damla and Grant many more happy memories together with Emily. It was a great pleasure for me to immortalize the special moments of this beautiful couple. I would also like to thank them for the comfortable working environment they provided me.
